Session 51
Crunches aren’t the problem—how you do them is. Most people push their abs outward, straining their core and creating a bulging effect instead of a flat, strong midsection.
Your abdominals are meant to contain and support your organs, not press them down. True core engagement starts with an exhale, drawing your deep muscles inward rather than pushing out. Every crunch should lift from within, with controlled, intentional movement that builds strength without distorting your core.
Done right, crunches create a lean, supported core. Done wrong, they work against you. In this weeks Abdominal exercise you can learn the difference is in mastering abdominal engagement.
