Session 39
This week’s focus is on leg slides, an essential exercise for releasing tension in the hips and pelvis. Prolonged sitting, standing, or limited flexibility often results in stiff, rigid hips, which can restrict daily movement and cause pain from the pelvis down to the legs or up into the lower back. By practicing leg slides, you are encouraging mobility and lubrication in the hip joint, helping you move through life more comfortably and freely.
To perform the exercise, follow the sequence of leg slides, internal and external slides, and spiraling slides. Aim to practice this 1-3 times this week to maintain fluidity and reduce tension. Keep your foot flat on the floor, move without forcing, and find a soothing rhythm that allows you to relax deeply. This simple yet impactful exercise will help release tension into the floor and bring relief to your hips.
